Destination Hike: Sunset Hike At Jericho Beach

August 17 @ 8:30 pm 10:30 pm PDT

This is a special destination hike at Jericho Beach at Sunset. Details on where to meet will be determined by the hiking coordinator.

For all Sunset fans this BCMOS Sunset hike is for you! Join us out at Jericho Beach to embrace nature and watch the sun go down.

Your wheelchair and belongings will be stored inside the BCMOS van on location.

Please note your booking is PENDING until it is confirmed by staff. They will send you a RESERVED confirmation or contact you if there is a conflict.

Please note the following:

  • The maximum number of hiking reservations is three(3). Once you have completed all three, you may book up to another three.
  • We meet at the Pacific Spirit Park Hiking Centre.
  • Please dress appropriately on the day of the hike.
  • The TrailRider can accommodate people of all sizes – a special seat insert adds comfort and safety for Riders under 5 ft (150 cm) and/or 90 lbs (40 kg).
  • You are welcome to bring your own Sherpa (family and friends) or Sherpa are supplied.

The Disability Foundation and affiliated societies' locations, programs, and events are inclusive and welcoming environments. Participation in any of the aforementioned organizations is subject to the observance of the Disability Foundation and affiliated societies' rules and procedures. Staff, volunteers, and clients are part of a team and expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This means that physical harm, verbal or written abuse, harassment of any kind, and any bullying behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have committed conduct prohibited by the societies is subject to disciplinary actions as deemed fit by the Executive Director, up to and including removal from the programs.
